Top 4 On-Demand Movies to Watch

Whether one is inclined toward watching thriller movies or romantic comedies, there is always at least one film of each genre that ranks in the list of top on-demand movies. This list tends to change now and again, and so has the list mentioned below, to contain the four on-demand movies as of September 2021.

#1. Undine

Where history, mythology, romance, and architectural theories interweave, Undine comes into existence as a faultlessly crafted masterpiece. Undine is a city historian who has just threatened her to-be ex-boyfriend to kill him if he breaks ties with her. He takes it as yet another miserable ex’s warning and finds his escape when Undine goes off to give a presentation on Urban Development in Berlin (yes, the origin of the name of one of the most popular characters in Money Heist).

They say that true love has a way of finding each other. A similar case is with Undine and Christoph- a marine divers. But during the entire process of character development, does Undine fulfill her promise to seek revenge on her ex, or does she not? You will have to watch this film to find out!

#2. Emma

For all the romantic comedy fans out there, the Pride and Prejudice writer has brought yet another classic rom-com. Starring the Queen of Gambit heroine as the lead role, Emma has her fate and is least interested in marriage, unlike most of Austen’s heroines. Emma’s character is selfish and chaotic and lacks self-awareness in all aspects, rightly portrayed by Anya Taylor.

This comical satire shows that match-making can be tricky and requires finesse and should best be left in the hands of professionals rather than enthusiastic amateurs. Anyone watching Emma would find themselves transported into 205 years old comedic culture.

#3. The Empty Man

Some movies have equal to zero promotion, which turns up in cinemas and vanishes as quickly but delivers unexpected impacts when watched. Well, The Empty Man is just that sort of movie. This flick is just like all those classic horror movies which leave the audience on a cliff-hanger at the end and is a much more accomplished piece of work than its reputation in the film industry.

The movie showcases tragic turns when a teenager Amanda, with her group of friends, summons the Empty Man and goes missing after a couple of days. Gradually, all her friends commit suicide and leave the note ‘The Empty Man Made Me Do It’ written in blood. Only, they didn’t commit suicide, and the policeman investigating their case ends up perplexed in a surreal situation, eventually tying it back to the prologue in an unexpected way.

#4. Tenet

All the Inceptions fans over here will surely like Tenet. The movie consists of clips that may seem random and out-of-context to the viewers but will be revealed to have an immediate link to what will be going on in the big picture; just like small puzzle boxes which link to a larger one or the small clues on Easter which lead to the big surprise.

The movie shows personal growth and emotional depth, which are barely included as ingredients in the recipe of a spy thriller. Still, it does stand up to the critics’ comment that ‘describing the plot linearly and logically is old-fashioned.’ So, those watching Tenet should keep a close eye on all that’s happening in the film.

Conclusion

Whether someone has a taste for horror, comedy, drama, or sci-fi, they will indeed find the movie of their preference in this ultimate list of the top 4 on-demand titles to watch right now. The only difficult decision left for them now is to choose which movie they will be watching first.
